Grand Master Park was born April, 15, 1959 in Dae Cheon, Chung Nam Province, South Korea. As a child, he was very shy and weak. So, his father brought him to the Taekwondo studio. He began to learn Taekwondo and his character changed. He became positive and always active with confidence and self control.Taekwondo changed his life. In addition to Taekwondo, Grand Master Park has also studied several other martial arts, such as Jeet kun do; Judo; Hapkido; and Kickboxing. When he was a senior in college, he learned martial dance from Master Ki Bum. Grand Master Park's hunger to learn martial arts continues; he is still studying and learning as much as he can of martial arts. His philosophy is, Martial Art is not seasonal or a hobby. It is a way of life. It makes us healthy in mind, body, and spirit; and gives self confidence. He likes the quote "Winners never quit, quitters never win" and encourages his students to never, ever, give up. Taekwondo is repetition. It must be done over and over until perfect. Also, respect for parents, teachers, elders, and high belts must be learned. He believes Taekwondo helps us become better people, and becoming a better person is life's goal. Martial Arts are not only for fighting. The most important lesson learned is discipline and self-control. Try to do your best and believe in yourself. A positive attitude is very important, and everyone should try to learn something new every day even if it's by mistake. We learn from mistakes too. Life is full of challenge and you can change yourself and your life if you desire. Desire! Plan! Execute! Grand Master Park almost always has a smile on his face, and he often says "If you want to be happy, choose to be happy. Smile and you will feel happier." I am Korean James Bond and my mission is teaching Martial arts in the U.S.A. 100% made in Korea, rebuilted in The U.S.A. and the happiest guy in the world. Our 2550 square feet facility features a high-quality padded mat that looks like wood but it's really a great, cushioned floor for practicing martial arts. There is a gallery section with plenty of seating where parents and friends can observe the class. Locker rooms are available for both males and females and there is a restroom on site.
